New York City: Our Favorite Itineraries


Start at your hostel ($30). If your hostel offers a free breakfast take
advantage of it. Get your Metrocard ($7)

Head down to the TKTS booth at South Street Seaport and buy your show
tickets for the evening ($20-$50)

Walk around the South Street Seaport area before walking up to Brooklyn
Bridge. Take advantage of some great photo ops of Brooklyn Bridge. If you
feel up to it walk across the bridge to get a great view of Manhattan. (Free)

Have lunch at a diner. ($9-$12)

Take the Staten Island Ferry and get a great view of the Statue of Liberty
and another view of Manhattan. (Free)

Take the subway from South Ferry to Chambers Street and see the WTC
site.

Take the subway uptown to Times Square to see a Broadway show

After the show grab a bite at a cheap restaurant or diner near Times Square
(~$15)
