On The Cheap Travel
Barcelona: Cheap Lodging

Barcelona is not a cheap city, especially when compared to other places in
Spain, but is still more affordable than other areas in Western Europe.
Fortunately, Barcelona’s popularity and constant backpacker traffic have led
to a wide selection of comfortable hostels offering great amenities at
reasonable prices. Book ahead, especially in summer.

HelloBCN Backpacker’s Hostel, Lafont 8-10

Brand new hostel with mixed dorms or private rooms, offering 24 hour
reception, secure storage, laundry, free internet and breakfast, and
organized activities. Dorms 18 euros, private rooms for 30.

Kabul Backpackers Hostel, Placa Reial 17

Located downtown and immensely popular. Services include 24 hour
reception, secure storage, laundry, free internet and breakfast, a pool table and

beat.

Stay in a modernista building a stone’s throw from some of the other
architectural gems of the city in this centrally-located hostel. 24
hour reception, free internet and breakfast, secure storage, and a bar. Book
tours and activities at the front desk. Dorms from 17 euros.
